Narnia: The Voyage of Dawn Treader

According to the LA times, Walden Media could announce a new deal within the next week. According to the article, 20th Century Fox has the first dips but if they pass on Dawn Treader then Walden Media does not have to keep looking because other studios have expressed interested (SONY, WB).

“But Fox is famous for driving hard bargains and exercising fiscal discipline, so don’t expect to see “Dawn Treader” costing anywhere near $225 million. Walden has been aiming to bring the new film in at around $140 million, which would be a far more enticing price tag for a 50/50 studio partner. If Fox passes, both Sony and Warner’s Brothers have expressed strong interest in the project. It would be a good fit for either studio, giving Sony something it hasn’t had in recent years–a fantasy-oriented family franchise, while it could provide Warners with a ready-made family-oriented franchise to replace the soon-to-be completed “Harry Potter” series. Whatever happens, it seems likely that “Narnia” fans will soon have another chance to visit the enchanted world of Narnia and other distant lands.”

Dolce Gabanna – Dorian Gray 2010

Ben Barnes, an actor who particularly impressed us in the British comedy “Easy Virtue” and whom the rest of the world discovered as Prince Caspian in Disney’s Narnia Chronicles, is set to star as the young man in Oscar Wilde’s masterpiece.
As in the novel, Dorian maintains his youthful beauty for all of eternity, yet his portrait tells another story of him through the ages, revealing his true ugliness. Colin Flirth will play Lord Henry Wotton, the man that falls in love with the beautiful Dorian.
As fashion is always in advance, it’s no surprise therefore to see Oscar Wilde’s portrait printed on D&G’s menswear invitation for tomorrow’s Autumn-Winter 2010 catwalk show. Follow the D&G menswear catwalk show as it happens via a live stream at www.dolce&gabbana.com on Tuesday, January 20th at 3 pm.
You can see the ticket at the top of this page.

Thanks Regys for sending this new!
