Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni translation

Hello girls!!! Yesterday I translated the interview for you! I’m sorry for the mistakes ( you know, study kills!!)
Enjoy it! =)

“Being the most beautiful? It’s a pest”

It may be because he’s English and charming, it may be because he has won fame thanks to a renowned fantasy saga (“The Chronicles of Narnia”), but Ben Barnes is considered by many as the new Orlando Bloom. In other words the beauty personified into an actor. But he, when it comes to beauty compliments he plays them down.

How does it feel to embody Dorian, an immortal model of beauty and charm?

“I didn’t think much about the physical beauty of the character but about the literary myth of “The Picture of Dorian Gray” that I read when I was a boy.”

In the film there is even more blood, horror and explicit sex than in the book.

“That’s true. The book alluded rather than describe, but it was terrifying. Even if only suggesting, it shocked. Or at least, it shocked me. In 2009, it is more difficult to strike the imagination of the audience, to do that you have to be more explicit.”

Dorian Gray and Edward Cullen the “Twilight” vampire: is the dark side of beauty a trend?

“The fascinating characters who are a prey to their inner struggles work. I know Robert Pattinson, who is a Londoner like me.  And I know that, just like me, he feels terribly uncomfortable because of this sex symbol matter.”
